【快訊 / 2020坎城影展宣佈喊卡，擬將延後或取消】
先前當法國政府多次宣佈禁止多人群聚（從5000人改成1000人，再改成100人以上）時，坎城影展仍表示一切都在正軌上。然而，今日坎城影展正式發表了聲明，確定第73屆坎城影展，將無法如期在五月舉行。
官方聲明表示，他們正在探索多方選項，最簡單的方法就是會延期到六月底～七月初舉辦。然而一切仍視進一步的疫情發展而定。
"Today, we have made the following decision : The Festival de Cannes cannot be held on the scheduled dates, from May 12 to 23. Several options are considered in order to preserve its running, the main one being a simple postponement, in Cannes, until the end of June-beginning of July, 2020."
坎城影展是歷史最悠久的國際影展之一，在其七十幾年的歷史中，只有一次因為68學運而中途停止。今年原先已預定由《黑色黨徒》導演 Spike Lee 擔任評審團主席，魏斯安德森的新片《The French Dispatch》也盛傳將於本屆坎城影展首映。今年奧斯卡最佳影片《寄生上流》即為上屆坎城影展的金棕櫚獎得主。
